5 Instagram Accounts to Fall in Love With

Instagram is one of my favourite apps; it’s been out for seven years now so I feel as though it is definitely an integral part of my life. Whilst I’ve spent the last couple of years on the app being indecisive and deleting pictures (which I’m half glad at and half sad that I can’t look back at my early attempts to be #arty), collecting accounts to follow is something that I’ve got quite good at.

Below is a list of some of my favourite accounts that I think you should follow so that they can regularly grace your feed with their pictures.

@lissyroddyy

If you’re the sort of person who spends a lot of time browsing the “shop the Insta” feature on websites like I do (shout out to my sister for introducing me to this feature) then you’ll have undoubtedly seen one of the images taken from this account. In fact, I regularly get adverts pop up on my feed to make me further fall in love with everything that she wears.

One of the main reasons that I lust after everything Instagrammed by @lissyroddyy is because it’s all items that are within my price range. Okay, so maybe not the Gucci Marmont bag, but still… If I ever tried to style a red shearling coat with red camo pants I would look like I’d got dressed in the dark, but somehow for her, it just works.

One to follow if: you love internet shopping and use Instagram for inspiration.

@heyclaire

I originally subscribed to Claire on Youtube over five years ago but only recently rediscovered her channel over the past couple of months. She’s always had this “cool girl” aesthetic that seems so effortless, and I think that’s why I would say that she is up there as one of my favourite influencers.

So, less of me talking about how much I love her and back to her Instagram. One of the things that sets her feed apart from the rest on my list is that there isn’t a theme. As much as I hate myself for making this all about themes and continuity, that’s generally what I look at when I first click on someone’s profile. However, with Claire, each picture just works.

One to follow if: you like pictures that tell stories.

I don’t know when I first stumbled upon Negin, but recently I’ve developed a borderline obsession with her and her dog. One of the things that I love the most about Instagram accounts is the theme, and each of her pictures fit together so well it’s like a craft in itself.

Negin’s account speaks to the inner fashion student in me, and her recent fashion week spam reminds me of the hustle and bustle of LFW back when it was at Somerset House. At the moment, I’m loving the autumnal, warm tones of the pictures, and if there was ever anyone who would convince me to go brunette, it’s probably her!

I am in love with the colour scheme that Aspyn is currently using on her Instagram. Her current use of soft pink hues and gentle light give me a severe sense of wanderlust and make me want to hop on a plane to wherever she is. Not only that, but one of the things that really makes me like her feed is because she experiments with different textures, which is something I’m not brave enough to do.

Have a scroll through her feed if you’re looking for some travel inspiration. She captured her recent trip to Instagram in a way that you don’t usually see; gone are the dark vsco filters and in its replace is the gentle sunlight rays.

One to follow if: you don’t mind getting sucked into someone’s profile for an hour or two.

@mais_jo

Back in April 2016, I decided it was time to give my personal Instagram a revamp. Now, let’s bear in mind that this was when Facetune was very popular and, as much as I hate to admit it, I succumbed to peer pressure and downloaded it. Now I know what you’re thinking, and unfortunately, I wasn’t talented enough to edit my face/body/existence to within an inch of its life. Instead, I decided to embrace the white theme to its full potential.

@mais_jo’s theme gives me serious flashbacks to this time, and although my white theme has long since been deleted, her Instagram is so aesthetically pleasing that it’s almost tempting to revert back to whitening everything possible.

One to follow if: you appreciate clean lines and white backgrounds, without there being a flat lay in sight!

I’m always on the lookout for more Instagram’s to follow, so let me know who your favourites are or comment your Instagram’s below!
